agreed that iphoneislam's al-Mus7af app is awesome as well. i find myself using the batoul quran reader more (because i am used to it now), but had i used al-Mus7af first, it would have been more than good enough for me.

wa3laikum alsalam -
are you talking about mp3s? if so, are the mp3s correctly tagged (do they have the sura number set as the track number?) -- you can find this out by looking at the mp3 on your computer (usually, in itunes, for example, you can right click and choose "get info" and it will tell you what the file is tagged with).

i am guessing that if the track number is properly set for each file, the suras will be in the right order. in worse case, you can rename the files to be 001 - Fatiha, 002 - Baqarah, ..., 114 - An-Nas, and this will cause them to be alphabetized.

Salaam aleykum brother,
I was reading the post up there, but I have to admit you got me lost! Way too advanced for me. I have a question, please: Every time I try to download the Quran (on my Ipod, Zen Vision or Iphone) I can never get it to be in order, i.e from Surah 1 to 114. It easy does it alphabetically, or it just jumbles the whole thing up. ANy advice?

Salam mashAllah nice work. Just an opinion. If you synch the photos of the Quran sorted by Surah i.e if they are arranged in folders with respect to Surah, then they should show up in surah groups which is easier then parsing through 604 pages. If anyone wants email me on usman@ymail.com or the author of this blog so we can provide you with it.
wallah u alam!
